What you can expect from your first visit
Your first visit will either take 30 or 45 minutes, depending on the complexity of the case. We will take a full history of the condition, perform a physical examination, explain the diagnosis and treat accordingly. We will usually also give you some estimation of how long the condition should take to get better and how much more treatment we recommend, if any.
 If in any doubt, we suggest that you book 45 minutes for your first treatment. This will allow the physiotherapist to take a full history, perfom a full examination, treat accordingly, give advice and teach any exercises that are appropriate for your condition. If the physiotherapist decides that 30 minutes are all that is required, you will be advised as such and only billed for that amount of time.
You will almost certainly need to undress, so you may prefer to bring a pair of shorts if, for example, you have a knee problem.
