For the last 4 years we have run the in-house physiotherapy clinic at a top 20 firm of solicitors. We came in when there had been dissatisfaction with a previous service.

During this time, we have developed the service and work closely with the Occupational Health Physician, Human Resources and the Health and Safety departments. We now provide departmental breakdowns on types of injury in order to help them identify patterns of work related injuries. We have become involved in their induction process. We have provided advice to Health and Safety which has included feedback on the acquisition of office furniture. We also liaise with them regarding ergonomic assessment for patients with spinal pain and RSI.

Our average percentage improvement resulting from a completed course of physiotherapy treatment has always been in the range 95-100%. (This statistic refers to cases treated by physiotherapy without the need for an onward referral.) Our average number of treatments per completed case was 5.82 in 2008.

We believe that we offer an excellent service. We know of no other clinic which has constantly audited and evaluated their performance to the extent that we have, in order to optimise the service that they offer.
